Potemkin in Newcastle

Pet Shop Boys performed their original music for "Battleship Potemkin" with the Northern Sinfonia orchestra last night to an audience of 14,000 people in the Swan Hunter shipyard, Wallsend, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. It was the sixth public performance of the work after London, Frankfurt, Bonn, Berlin and Hamburg and was presented by the Newcastle Gateshead Initiative.
