In September Pet Shop Boys will release a new album, entitled "Elysium", on Parlophone. The album was produced in Los Angeles by Andrew Dawson and Pet Shop Boys. To give an idea of the album’s sound, a short film for the album track “Invisible” can be viewed online now on this site or on Vevo or on You Tube (links below). The film was made by renowned Los Angeles artist/film-maker Brian Bress.
Like several tracks on “Elysium”, “Invisible” features backing vocals by singer/songwriter James Fauntleroy and veteran singers Oren, Maxine and Julie Waters whose long singing career spans sessions with The Jackson Five to Adele.
The Electric 2015 tour will come to Sweden this summer.
Pet Shop Boys return to Finland to appear at Flow Festival.
The Electric tour makes a second visit to Spain this year.
A brand new London production opens next month.
PSB will play only their second-ever concert in the Italian capital.
This mint seven-inch single of "What have I done to deserve this?" was recently discovered in the PSB archives and given by Neil and Chris to the Stonewall gay rights charity to auction online. It's very rare because it was signed by Neil, Chris and Dusty Springfield backstage at the Brits Awards in 1988. Go to the link if you'd like to place a bid.
UPDATE: The auction is now closed and the single went for £929!
