"She's Madonna", the Robbie Williams and Pet Shop Boys collaboration, is released as a single today, March 5th. Robbie, Chris and Neil wrote the song, one of the highlights of Robbie's "Rudebox" album, with Pet Shop Boys handling the production. The latest issue of the Observer Music Monthly has just named it one of its top five tracks of March, explaining:
"Rudebox is Williams's best album and this Pet Shop Boys collaboration is the perfect introduction to it. Dumping a less favoured suitor in the wake of a better offer from the Material Girl herself - 'I love you baby, but face it, she's Madonna' - Robbie (in his dreams, at least) achieves the perfect blend of deference and braggadocio."
The single is available on digital download stores and on 2-track CD, Maxi-CD and DVD, featuring remixes by Chris Lake, Kris Menace and Switch.
