Amid the uncertainty caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, with governments taking measures to try to mitigate the effects of the virus, we all wonder what the immediate future holds for us. Pet Shop Boys and their team are working on the music and production of the upcoming Dreamworld tour while aware of the possibility that some of the dates may have to be postponed until a later date because of government directives. As soon as we know if any changes have to be made to the Dreamworld tour schedule, we’ll let you know.

Due to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 pandemic, the preview screening of Pet Shop Boys’ 1988 feature film, “It Couldn’t Happen Here”, at BFI Southbank in London on Friday 3 April is now cancelled. Any ticket holders for the event are being contacted by the BFI to arrange a refund.

Two books by Chris Heath from the early 90s which document the rise of PSB and give behind-the-scenes access to their first experiences of touring are reissued today. Pet Shop Boys, Literally and Pet Shop Boys Versus America are now available in hardback, published by William Heinemann.

It has just been announced that this year’s Glastonbury Festival, due to take place at the end of June, has been cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic. The line-up was only confirmed last week and Pet Shop Boys were scheduled to headline the Other Stage on the final night of the festival. More information at the links below.
