The French release of “PopArt” will have one unique track: “New York City boy” will be replaced by “Paris City boy”, in which the city eulogised is Paris and the bridges and choruses of the song are sung in French.
This French version of the song was recorded at the request of EMI France and contains lyrics translated by respected French songwriter/journalist, Jerome Soligny. Chris and Neil travelled to Paris in July to record new vocals on the original track. The recording and mix was engineered by Julien Delfaud who has worked with Air and Cassius.
A sample of the track will be made available on this site soon.
