Pet Shop Boys’ video for their forthcoming single, “Flamboyant”, has been acclaimed as one of their best ever. Directed by Nico Beyer, a German commercials director based in Paris, it is based around a real Japanese TV show in which contestants have to come up with a “flamboyant” creative idea to make themselves famous. Neil and Chris appear in the video in a series of fake Japanese TV commercials.
If you live in the UK and have cable or satellite television, you can request the video on two music channels: The Box and The Hits. (It is number 225 on each channel.)
The video will also be on this site very soon.
