Remixing The Killers

Pet Shop Boys are in their studio remixing “Read My Mind”, the forthcoming third single from The Killers’ “Sam’s Town” album. The single is expected to be released early next year. Neil and Chris both went to see The Killers in concert at Brixton Academy at the end of November which is when the remix was originally discussed.

Neil and Chris have also remixed a song for “Little Britain” which will be released as a download early in 2007. The song, “I’m Gay (Get Over It)”, was originally written as the finale of their live show by Matt Lucas and David Walliams with film composer David Arnold and is sung by the character Dafyd, “the only gay in the village”. Pet Shop Boys’ mix is more “pop” than the original.

Pet Shop Boys last remix to be released was “Sorry” by Madonna which reached number one in the UK charts in February.
