V Festival

We are pleased to announce that Pet Shop Boys will be among the headliners at the V Festival this year. They will be closing the evening in The Arena at Weston Park, Staffordshire, on Saturday 21st August, and Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex, on Sunday 22nd August. The summer spectacular, held across two sites and two days will be “crammed with the hottest names in music”, including main stage headliners, Kings of Leon and Kasabian, and 4 Music stage headliners, The Prodigy and David Guetta. Festival Director, Simon Moran comments: “We expect excitement levels will reach new heights in The Arena which will be jam packed with Pet Shop Boys and Cheryl Cole closing each night.” Other artists performing in this very eclectic festival include Florence and the Machine, Groove Armada, Madness, Goldfrapp, Mika, Editors and Faithless.

Tickets go on sale from Friday 5th March at 9am from www.vfestival.com where all official outlets are detailed. V organisers stress that purchasing tickets from unofficial outlets could lead to disappointment.
