We are both very sad to hear of the death of radio DJ Janice Long who was always so enthusiastic about new music and such fun to be around. She was very supportive to us in the early days of PSB. Heartfelt condolences to her family and friends. Neil and Chris xx

An hour-long edit of “Performance”, the film of PSB’s 1991 tour, will be broadcast on BBC4 tonight (December 20) at 9.30 pm, 30 years after it was first shown. Link below.

Two exhibitions celebrating the work of artist/writer/filmmaker (and PSB collaborator) Derek Jarman have recently opened in the UK. “Protest” at the Manchester City Art Gallery is a retrospective of all aspects of his work while “Derek Jarman’s Modern Nature” at the John Hansard Gallery in Southampton focuses on his passion for the natural world. A short book accompanies this show and includes a contribution from Neil. Links below.

Chris and Neil will be taking over BBC Radio 2 with their own show between 9 pm and midnight on Boxing Day, December 26. In “Pet Shop Boys Takeover” they will present an eclectic selection of music from the 60s to the present day. The show will also be available on the BBC Sounds app. Link below.
