Parlophone have given September 25th as the provisional release date for “Concert”, the double-CD of the complete Mermaid Theatre concert with the BBC Concert Orchestra, featuring guests Robbie Williams, Rufus Wainwright and Frances Barber.
Robbie Williams’ own new album is scheduled to be released on the same day. It includes two collaborations with Pet Shop Boys: “She’s Madonna” (a new Williams-Tennant-Lowe composition) and “We’re the Pet Shop Boys” (written by my robot friend and previously recorded by Pet Shop Boys).
