Pet Shop Boys played the first date of their new “Electric” tour last night at the Cumbre Tajin festival in Mexico. Although the tour doesn’t really get going until May, this show was a preview of much of the music and visuals and included two songs from the forthcoming “Electric” album: “Axis” and “The last to die”. On this day 30 years ago, Pet Shop Boys released their sixth studio album, “Bilingual”. This was taken in 1996 by Andy Earl during a publicity session for “Single-bilingual”.
