I just watched the first part of an excellent new TV series, “Secrets Of The Pop Song”, which was broadcast last night on BBC2 in the UK. It gives a real insight into pop songwriting as you follow Rufus Wainwright and Guy Chambers writing a ballad together. There are two more programmes in the series and you can watch it now (in the UK) on the BBC iPlayer. Neil (I appear in the series as well…)
