Jon Savage’s new compilation “A Secret History of Second Wave Psychedelia 1988–1993” is released only on vinyl on April 27th on Caroline True Records. Alongside tracks by the Stone Roses, 808 State and Primal Scream, it also features everyone’s favourite PSB experimental track, “The sound of the atom splitting”. This track was inspired by a line in the Derek Jarman film, “The Last of England”, and created during a studio jam session with Chris, Neil, Trevor Horn and Steve Lipson. Pet Shop Boys are pleased to announce two more “Dreamworld” 2026 dates in Japan. On Tuesday, 6th January, they will perform at the Tokyo Garden Theater, and on Friday, 9th January, at Kobe’s World Memorial Hall.

We are so sad to hear that Dave Ball, the keyboard genius of Soft Cell, has died. He was an electronic pop pioneer and with Marc Almond made a unique catalogue of songs, completely original in sound and content. Our love and condolences go to Marc and all those close to Dave.
